Viaje Update

I am becoming a Viaje fanatic. I smoked a 50/50 on Norcal Mark's advice and damn, I am enjoying the heck out of these sticks...

Anyway, onto the title of the post.

Mark says that the TNT's should be out soon (before July 4th) and they are going to be in cabs of 75 at a pretty steep price point. Soooo, what I see that as meaning is that unlike the Daisy Cutters, many of us will not get shut out.

Mark also noted that a Spring stick is coming out akin to the Holiday Blend (which by the way I have one (1) left) I am all over a box split with a friend of mine for these.

I reserved my box of the holiday blend too already...I also heard from a couple of locations that the TNT wouldn't be sold by the case due to limited availability and large case sizes...I've only been offered a chance at a fiver for the TNT...I of course don't swing a very large bat so I'm sure some of our more fortunate members can rub this in my face soon enough.

The TNTs come in TNT crates of 75 sticks. Also, it is not a Spring stick. It is the Summer Special. 8"x50 Torpedo with brushed foot. 6.5" stick, with 1.5" of brush. 30 sticks/box.

i read an article that the "brushed foot" resembled a paint brush and only one roller in the factory had the ability to roll the cigar...so yes, it's probably a 1.5" expensive shaggy.

This is what I gathered from the article I read last week....


The "Summerfest" will be part of the "Seasonal Series", of which the "Holiday Blend" was the first. These are the only two blends in the series.

The "Summerfest" will be available in the Torpedo mentioned above and a Robusto.

Very interesting info.... I've tried a few Viajes and enjoyed them all.

I missed the Daisy Cutters but will be on the lookout for the TNT.

BTW: I was just bustin' Ben's chops.....For those that PM'd, I DO NOT HAVE A BOX RESERVED, but if I do get one, there will be a split.....

i was able to call up one place and reserve 10 tnt singles. They said they were getting two cases and one was already reserved but they were breaking up the other. i also got a box of the summer fest robustos reserved.
