ugh, this is fucked up. I called and they lady told me "any transactions done overseas incur a 3.5%". I had to explain to her several times that I understood that being the case if said overseas transactions were done in a fuckin' foreign currency. but when it is done in dollars it seems silly they would dock you for that.
talked to a manager who actually was able to look into my prior history. she doesn't see it in my past statements, which supports my findings of not seeing them on my .pdf statements as well. so I think, and she agreed with me, that maybe because it is an overseas transaction the system automatically posts a 3.5% fee online eventhough it is done in dollars (system assumes that since transaction is foreign it has to incur a fee regardless of exchange or no). but when everything is consolidated at the end of the month I either get credited or there is an adjustment made for the ones that were done in dollars :dunno:
so subtract 3% that I added to the totals. if they charge me that, I'll call them back and get them to reverse it or give them the pink slip. quadry, instead of me refunding you that, I'll just either send you a cigar or make that up when I pick up the tickets from you....cool?
