The Chicago Symphony's recording of Resphigi's Pines of Rome under Fritz Reiner. I like Charles Dutoit's interpretation with the Montreal Symphony better.

Ohio players, Parliment, Rick James on the weekends. Lately I have been into the jazz station during morning work hours.I really like the work of a drummer last named "blakey". Occasionally we have melodic metal afternoon workdays.
Art Blakey? Of the Jazz Messengers?

RIght now at this very moment i'm listening to THe Derek Trucks Band. good stuff.

Also been listening to Dire Straights, Steely Dan, Eric Clapton blues stuff, robert johnson, bb king, Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughn and a whole host of other blues stuff.

Mixing in a little Pink Floyd with those too.

Put some reggae in a few days ago...not quite warm and sunny enough for that yet. Thats August music, not April music

I just got the new In Flames cd so I've been taking that in mostly the last two weeks. I have to say it's a great cd, a couple of the songs seem to start the same the first time you listen but they're all very good if you ask me.

Two or three weeks ago. I was lucky enough to see that they miracously carried it in the BX on base here. They might have got a hold of it through the European release. Who knows though. Go get it. You'll like it.
