My daughter keeps listening to Billie Eilish “Bad guy” and just just bobbing her head until she says “duh” in the song, then repeating it ad nauseam until it’s said again (she’s about to be 4 so it’s excusable)

That is what I’m currently suffering, I mean listening to

Followed by a Municipal Waste live In Indy bootleg when the opened for GWAR (I missed this show :( )

And now a Primus bootleg live 11/6/06 The Tabernacle Atlanta, GA

both recordings are not the best, but i'm at work so no complaints

The Monkees - self-titled first album

Yes, The Monkees. Davy Jones, Michael Nesmith, Peter Tork and Mickey Dolenz. No particular reason, just thought it’d be fun to listen to the first LP I ever owned. My parents bought a portable stereo player (...detachable speakers, fold-down turntable...) and they let me pick out a couple of albums. I think the other album was “More of The Monkees” but for some reason, I can only clearly remember the 1st album. But we are talking 50+ years ago so probably lost that memory cell due to later “youthful activities”.

Edit: It was my older brother that bought the stereo for me

Went back in time - mixed disc with late 60s to early 70s stuff:

Long Cool Woman (In a Black Dress) - The Hollies
All the Young Dudes - Mott the Hoople
All Right Now - Free
Aqualung - Jethro Tull
Power to the People - John Lennon
Closer to Home / I'm Your Captain - Grand Funk Railroad
Mississippi Queen - Mountain
Let's Work Together - Canned Heat
Truckin' - Grateful Dead
Keep On Trucking' - Hot Tuna
Do You Know What I Mean - Lee Michaels
Fresh Air - Quicksilver Messenger Service
I Saw the Light - Todd Rundgren
We Were Always Sweethearts - Boz Scaggs
Dinah Flo - Boz Scaggs
Gypsy Queen, Parts I & II - Gypsy

Pretty much high school music.
