  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

What are you listening to?

Quicksilver Messager Service - Live at Winterland 1970

First saw them as the middle act with the New Riders of the Purple Sage and the Grateful Dead at the old Civic Auditorium then twice more at the Diamond Head Sunshine Festivals. John Cipollina was so underappreciated. Mighta been a 4th time but my memory is kinda hazy on that one.

I'm diggin' the accordion in this tune. Tex/Mex isn't just a food thing.
Their sound is definitely distinctively Texan. Any band that can tilt from country to conjunto in a single song is alright with me. :ROFLMAO:

Another example of this...a cover of an old school ranchera by a beloved Texas country singer (with guest vocals from his Dad!):
