Working through "Managing Hedge Fund Risk and Financing" - not my industry but an interesting guidebook.

Following this up with "Red Blooded Risk" which I'm REALLY looking forward to reading.

Then probably on to "Volatility" by Sinclair after revisiting "Excel Modeling" by Beninga for a refresher on a few unused topics.

Working now on "House of Leaves"
It's deeply weird, but I'm having a hard time putting it down.

I decided to finally read an Erle Stanley Gardner Perry Mason novel. I went to the library and picked one more or less at random: The Case of the Terrified Typist. What are the odds that of all the Perry Mason novels this guy wrote, I pick up the one which people describe as "the one time Perry Mason loses"! Although if it weren't for all the hype, I don't think you would walk away from the book describing it that way.

At any rate, I want to read another one, just to see whether a typical story ends the way the TV episodes end, with someone breaking down in court admitting "yes, I did it!"
