Never heard the Faith No More version but it is almost identical to the original IMHO.

I partly agree with you Brian. If you listen to both, kind of as background music, they will sound nearly identical.
Listen to them back to back a few more times, picking one instrument to focus on each time, and you will here a fairly big difference.
I'm a drummer so the fills in particular are very noticeably different and more complex than the BS version. It's just something I can pick out easy when listening to both versions.
Mike Patton does a much better job on vocals as well imho. Patton's singing on this song has more intensity to it. I love Ozzy's singing here but he has a couple rough spots.
Not to discredit BS at all. I love the original and have always been a big fan of BS's entire catalog.
