  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

What do you think about Tim Tebow?

I think he is a good guy. Great college player how and if it will transfer to the pro's, I am not sure? I hope that he succeeds on the next level.

He may be a good person, but he's not as good as herschel walker or even tommy frazier. His windup is worse than byron leftwich, and he's not that accurate.

they will work alot of this stuff out in the NFL. He is a little bold in the running game and windup needs work, but I don't expect him to get drafted as a star. He'll be a rookie and thats what I expect out of him initially. He does have alot of potential IMHO

He could end up as a halfback that takes snaps in the wildcat, but he will never be the starting QB for a team unless he is the back and the starter gets hurt.

Remember a good college athlete means an average NFL athlete. I disagree about him being able to play multiple positions. He could never start on "D", it is way too late to change to linebacker and he is to small to play on the line, and to slow to play in the secondary.

As for offense he is to small for "TE" and to slow for receiver

Again all three are better runners and passers than Tim, and two were better athletes.

And are you saying Montana was not great, he was just in the right system?

You honor I have no more questions.
Yes Montana was in the right system with some great players, weak arm but in the west coast offense you do not need a strong arm. He was accurate and smart, but if not for Bill Walsh, Joe wouldn't have been as great as he was.

Tebow's athletic, smart and a hard worker (something Vick and Cunningham were not) so I think his potential is greater. Just my 2 cents and worth what you paid.
