What flavor characteristics do you enjoy the most?

- Earth
- Toast
- Wood
- Leather
- Pepper
- Nuts
- Coffee
- Creamy
- Chocolate
- Vanilla
- Citrus

Here are a few others to look for when you are enjoying a cigar: Raisins, Coco, Espresso, Honey, Cedar, Peat, Paprika, Saffron, Sugarcane, Shortbread, Fig, Caramel, Salt, Molasses, Cinnamon, Spicy, Herbs, Walnut, Floral, Red wine, Butter, Tea, Nutmeg, Fruit, Meaty, Mint, Oak, Roasted

What flavors did I miss that you enjoy?

Can't pick out flavors yet? Maybe you need to get to know your taste buds. This might be the 1st step. Hope this helps:

Here is a tip, you can ignore bitter. You won't taste bitter (back of tongue) in a cigar unless it has been stored incorrectly.

I like leather, spice, vanilla, but my absolute favorite with cigars and wine is earthiness.

It is so nice to smoke a nice earthy smoke. It just coats your palate and it's so dry and elegant... oh man i should light up a 26 maddy today. :cbig:

Pepper/spicy is my favorite, but I enjoy earthy, chocolate, and coffee too.

I picked coffee, nuts, and creamy. To be fair, with my unrefined palatte I haven't even tasted half of the flavors listed. I wouldn't even know what "earth" tastes like-- that sounds like dirt to me.

Same here, my palette isn't as refined as others here but I have been able to taste what some would call earthy.

I like the creamy, chocolate, cocoa, coffee flavors with a little pepper. I also like what I call 'floral' profile. I guess it could be citrus but to me it hints at the taste of walking in a floral shop. The ones that kind of boar me are the wood or cedar flavors and the grass flavors.
