Dogtooth is one of the most messed-up films I have ever seen!

Yet I can't stop thinking about it! Greek movie, which sort of makes me wonder what others wonder, know what I mean?

Btw, NOT for the squeamish. Well, unless animal mutilation, incest, weird experiments are your thing. FREAKISH!

Paid $18 to see this in an IMAX theater. I should have waited for Netflix instead. Not a terrible movie but filled with holes and unanswered plot lines. This movie was made with the sole intent of a sequel or two. Judging by the 2/3 empty theater on a Saturday night if they do make one it will be straight to video.

I just finished watching the third part of the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I thought the movies were great.. Now if you don't like foreign films they may not be for you. I know when they remake these movies , as they are planning, for the us they will loose a lot of the raw compelling emotion displayed on the scenes that make you empathize with the characters.

The trilogy is
1. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
2. Girl Who Played With Fire
3. The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest

Really enjoyed these too, was especially happy that the dubbing was done well. If I didn't look carefully I never would have known. I believe there are Hollywood versions on the table, please don't let it be Angelina Jolie!!

These are really good films and unforunately you know the Hollywood versions are going to be over the top and horrible.

Have you read about Stieg Larsson? He died way back in 2004, and there is interesting stuff regarding rights to his works and money derived from them.

Since I am not working we quit Direct TV and are just watching Netflix - some great documenaries are on there, if you haven't watched it I suggest seeing I'm Still Here - about Joaquin Phoenix and his rap career.
