Wanted to poll the brothers and ask; what (if any) outside stimulus seems to almost always increase your desire to light up?
Some possible choices:
A physical addiction causing a craving.
Habituation (triggered by the same time or place e.g. after dinner, during a ballgame, while fishing, etc.)
The smell of cigar smoke.
The sight of someone else smoking a cigar.
Reading about cigars (like on this site.)
As a companion to alcohol.
Working with (or purchasing) cigar paraphernalia (humidor, cutters, adjustments to inventory, etc.)
Other (help me out here.)
I find that I am really stimulated when on a site like this, I read about the cigar experiences of others. Just seeing someone smoke has little effect on increasing my desire to light up; and the smell of a roomful of tobacco smoke is actually a turn off to me. (I pretty much have to smoke where there is fresh flowing ventilation.) Time of day means little, although I do not enjoy smoking when it is very hot.
I am really curious about your thoughts on this subject. Thanks for participating.
