2003 Igino Accordini Amarone

very good - high fruit, high alcohol... the best I've come across for full body out of France/Italy, etc. Granted... I haven't had any of the $2,000 bottles of Bordeaux... but this was great...

think I may do a head to head... Amarone versus full CA Cabs!

Grilled up some steak and chicken for tacos today... had a Columbia Winery Reserve Riesling... was ok, hard to go back to PacNW Rieslings after going the Germany route, which pains me to say as I'm from the PacNW and love the area.

Tonight with my Sir Winston, enjoying some Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix... a good malt, very delicate... maybe too delicate for the Sir Winston... that said, its hard not to feel like you're living the good life with this pairing. Content, indeed!

I have been liking 21st Amendment Beer the two I have tried is Brew Free or Die IPA & Back in Black Black IPA, they are both very good. I also finished off the last of my Bulleit Bourbon.

This stout is unbelieveable, drank two bombers over the weekend and put six bottles away for aging!
