Glennfiddich 12-year here, my new standard.

I'd like to start trying some bourbon and cognac, though ... might post a thread for advice.

Haven't seen this before. Is it Bourbon? Can't read the label well enough to tell.
i received it as part of a bomb.
it's a single malt from wheat. you can only get it in washington state. they only make 180 bottles a year,or so i was told.

Interesting. So basically a Wheater Bourbon, but not Bourbon because it's not from KY. I tend to lean towards Rye Bourbons, but there are some excellent wheaters out there (VW Lot B, William Larue Weller, etc.).

this was very good. had a smooth, yet tangy, almost citrus taste to it. reminded me of biting an orange peel...

Tried Flying Dog's Raging Bitch 20th Anniversay Belgian IPA. Great beer, and a nice change of pace from typical Imperial IPAS

a great dfh 90 today. tonight...the legedario!
I see you finally got some. I kept checking my normal six pack location and they haven't had anything "fresh" until my visit this morning. It was bottled in August instead of sometime in 2009 like the last few times I was there.

Hope you liked it!

I just drank one of my homebrewed Belgian-style saison ales. Too bad I didn't stick more in the fridge it was gooood. I just yanked one to check on the carbonation level.
