BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

My wife is amazing. She used the grill to encrust and pan seer the porterhouse in her cast iron pan and then finished it off on the grill. The sauce is a Gorgonzola and spinach cream sauce. Then we have roasted asparagus.

Such a pain in the A to make but worth it. My mother would make it every so often (father off the boat Hungarian) with veal stew. I've endeavored on several occasions to get it just right but have yet to replicate her technique.

Not the best picture, but I made these bacon wrapped chorizo stuffed dates. If anyone here is familiar with the Chicago food scene, they are my take on the dates made famous by Avec. Amazing.
