Couple of bowls yesterday while smoking a pork shoulder. Capstan and then Mcclellands #22 from 1994 (Acquired from Pipestud a few years ago). One of them burnt the shit out of my tongue, prob the #22 because I over packed and got a little careless with the puffing. That’s a pattern when I get back into pipes every year, I tend to get overzealous and pack to much. Lesson learned tonight as I went very light with the Bayou Morning. Just enough to leave the tobacco on top springy. A few pics of the pork shoulder , the New Bedford Whaling Museum, and today’s smoke.
