Was out with friends this afternoon and the one works at a liquor store. We stopped by there and I got a bottle of Woodford Reserve with his 15% employee discount.
Also picked up some Ron Zacapa and beer while I was at it.

Good luck with the WR Josh. I've not been impressed. I think it's a mediocre bourbon with phenomenal marketing. But I've also heard that it can be hit or miss, so here's hoping you get a great bottle.

I have 7 year old Jim Beam and Gentleman Jack.

I really like the 7 year old Beam, but I really haven't tried a lot of bourbon. Various Jim Beams, Jack Daniels (not bourbon, I see), Maker's Mark, that's about it.

You have my curiosity up, though. I think I should some of these listed above.

Added Bakers 7 year (good stuff, I can understand why it did so well in the Whisky competitions recently) as well as a bottle of Wild Turkey Rare Breed.

I'm not a real bourbon fan after Knob Creek and Makers Mark. I'll stick to rum and try out scotch.

Smoke_Eater: Wow, 4 Roses. That stuff is hard to come by. Haven't had any but hear it's wonderful.
Yeah, I lucked out. I'm not in Kentucky or Japan but the owner of my local liquor store happened to have 2 bottles. I haven't tried them yet but I hope they are as good as people say.

Good man! :) I have so much trouble reaching for anything other than Stagg nowadays.

Jason, I have a liquor store that might have 4 Roses. I gave a bottle to a friend of mine for Christmas. We cracked it together, it's pretty good. I can look to see if they have more if you like.

Just getting into the Bourbon.....is Bourbon only straight and not blended???

Not waiting for the answer:
Like JW making room for several bottles of George T Stagg; Jack Daniels; Several Bottles of Crown Royal; and various bottles of cheap crap!

I've got some Knob Creek, Buffalo Trace, and some Stagg that I still have to get off of Mike.
I'm too young to be doing the whole quality over quantity deal that you FOGs are doing!!!
