No its not exaggeration don't let the growth of infrastructure and realstate prices fool you. Cruz 4th in sodo ride down 3rd ave head to Ballard up to magnolia back down to Wallingford skate over to UW and did I mention Aurora ave good GOD Seattle may have Amazon and growing infrastructure but the social melting and chaos happening aling with the transient heroin-addicted bums that seemed to be welocomed by the politicians living in all the neighborhoods I mentioned. Every urban forest and green space has garbage, needles, poop and pee you name it the city is a POS with beautiful topography thats about it;) Didn't even get to mention gang violence in the valley but that's a welcome sight compared to the transient drug addicted bums;)
Sorry can't miss and opportunity to slay that shitty city;)
Spot on! I have been here for 7 years. In those 7 years I have seen the homeless explode. We are a sanctuary city and it shows... The homeless are spreading out and have started to arrive in my town. They site by the I5 off ramps and beg for money every day. They live in the green belt adjacent to the highway and it looks like a dump..... Don't get me started on the current RV population either.....

I'm fairly new to this community and hobby. I live just north of Seattle Washington and am having a difficult time finding nice places to go and have a cigar. Anyone live in this area have some good suggestions? I've been to Lit at Snoqualmie and love it.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Rain City Cigar in the historic Georgetown area south of Seattle. You can smoke outside the shop and they also do tent events in the parking lot as well as a smoke bus. When it comes to indoor - I use my house :)

I saw Derek mention Smokey Joe's in Fife, WA. I will second that as a great spot. It's on the second floor above BJ's Bingo. Great selection of cigars (and decent prices), full bar, flatscreen TV's, leather seating, welcoming atmosphere, etc. You can also order food from the cafe from below and the server will bring it up to you.

I am about 10 minutes from this shop. Stopped by last month to check it out, it was too cold for a cigar outside though.
Yeah, it's not a comfortable place for hanging out when it's cold. Your only options are driving to the casinos... either Lit Lounge or Smokey Joe's for a comfortable spot during the Winter to watch sports etc.

If I were you, I'd check out local casinos to you to find out where you can smoke inside when you have the itch and don't want to drive far. Not sure what's around you, but I have gone inside Tulalip before with no problems. Up North, I go to a nice casino every now and then... was just there last Friday in fact having lunch and doing some work while enjoying a cigar. Not all casinos allow cigars even if they allow smoking, so it can be hit or miss. The one I go to close to my house technically doesn't allow cigars even though I've never had a problem smoking them there. I usually try to find a spot away from people, or at least a corner table at one of the bars.

I'll second others recommendations for Smoky Joe's. I've also had good luck with the bar at the Tulalip and Swinomish Casino--no lounge but they don't mind a cigar at the bar. They just closed a great lounge at the Silver Reef Casino north of Bellingham.
