  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Updated first post guys get on it! This looks like a great way to get local B&M's exposure and find some new shops to use or visit on trips. Good luck brothers

That's right, here's an OE Raffle meant to inspire! And guess what, it won't cost you a dime.

Here's what you do:

Get your LOCAL B&M to donate something to OE (e.g. box of cigars, a cool lighter, other accessories, etc.)

Each B&M donation gains you one entry into this raffle. Donations from a separate B&M gains you an additional entry (2 B&M's = 2 entries, 3 B&M's get you 3 entries, etc)

With each donation, your B&M gets their logo flying at the largest and most active cigar and pipe discussion forum on the Internet, plus the great and lasting feeling of knowing they have helped to change some severely impoverished children's lives. Now that's positive promotion they might otherwise not be able to get! We'll fly their banner, talk about them, and in the process heighten their profile in the cigar community - and you could win a cool box of cigars :)

Oh and, and… You could win the products your B&M(s) donate in the Big Raffle at the end of our Operation Esteli drive!!!
All entries will be noted and tallied in the second section of this thread (below this post)

Not sure what to say to get their donation? It's pretty simple really… during your visit (or on the phone), just mention their donation will help raise money to feed and educate children in an extremely impoverished neighborhood of a town where some of the finest cigars they sell are manufactured. We'll fly their company/shop banner and talk about them on BOTL, increasing interest in their Internet and cigar community profile.

The big raffle is held late June or early July (iirc), but I will let you know (exactly), when I do. BUT, the sooner they get their donations in, the sooner we can start pumping those B&M's up!

Looks like we only have two or three active members who have hit up their B & M so far. I can't believe that you guys are going to let one of these guys walk away with this thing (like taking candy from a baby)
