loaded them up without seasoning them since its been holding humidity without really activating the beads. been holding at 66-68% with the cheaphumidor.com trays.

WAIT! STOP!
Just because your wineador had been holding steady doesn't mean the the moisture content in those drawers match up. You NEED to make sure the drawers are acclimated before you put them in with your cigars. Dry wood is very thirsty. You are quite literally sucking the moisture out of your stash right now...

Sounds like you're well on your way!
Now when the woodwork arrives, put that inside with your containers of distilled water and hygrometer until RH reads 75%+, pull the water dishes and add your [beads or kitty litter] and wait for RH to stabilize at desired level. If it levels off too low, spritz media w/ DW and wait again. If it levels off too high, crack the door for a while or try adding an empty "room-dry" cedar cigar box to absorb extra moisture.
When it's consistently at your desired level for a couple days, add sticks and enjoy the beauty that is your new wineador!
