Anyone care about the World Cup? My team did not qualify this time, no thanks to what I call "Le Hand of God," but I still love the tournament. England v US is could be a good match this time around.

I am pumped... too bad I am the best man at a wedding that starts at the same time the USA England match starts...

some folks around the bar where i work seems to think that the US will actually beat England this time around... i think they are high on something... not that i don't support America, i'm just a pragmatist.
As for your Mexico supporter, Tobby, I am sure he won't have much to say, as I don't believe South Africa will be looking to loose their first match on their home turf, no matter who they have to overcome.

USA was looking good till the injuries brought davis and chiang down, and think i heard altidore is banged up. Hopefully the gods will shine down on us and beat england. As for mexico, it's a miracle they actually made it in, (estadio Azteca saved them) its like they cant seem to gel into a cohisive unit. predict SA 3 Mex 0

Not a great day for the english keeper in the beginning but later on he did some marvelous saves. You should not be ashamed of stealing a point from the Brits! I think that you guys can be the dark horse in this turnament.
