One time I screwed up and got a CHEAP sampler of Thompson 4x60 habano wrapped turds (from the Philippines).. the only smokes my cheap ass has tossed out... other than an acid, just can't do flavored sticks!

I've smoked a ton of bad sticks in my day, but the worst brand of cigars for me would have to be non-Cuban Montecristos. I had one good stick about a year ago. A Montecristo Monte. So, silly me, I bought a Montecristo sampler then a 10-pack of Montes on a couple of cigar auction sites. Every single one of these Montecristos has been awful. Even having rested them for a year. The silver ones, the white ones, the brown ones, the Montes.

They're squishy, they tunnel, they're almost unsmokable really. Couldn't be one batch because I ordered them from different retailers at different times. And they're kept in a humidor next to sticks that smoke just fine, so I don't think it's that.

Dunno.

God, some of these responses are absolutely hilarious! It is Rare that I find a cigar that I cant say something good about. The one that sticks in my mind was a stick Called Uncharted. It came in a random sampler I bought... Drunk bidding is bad biding. When the box showed up, I was like, What the hell is this magic.... Then i find the receipt in the box.... Damn! So, after I let the sticks rest for about a month, I pull this Uncharted stick out. I got some work to do outside, so I figure what the heck. That was the worst, tobacco wrapped turd, I have ever had. Tasted like a mix between burnt motor oil and turpentine. Burnt wicked un even, I made it about 1/8 into it before I tossed it. Never ever again.

In my short time of cigars I have had 3 that were bad. First one was a smoke that had a band that said Rum on it. Bought it on a recommendation of a friend (some friend). It was terrible all the way to the end. Chunked it at the band. Second was a Olivia O. Not sure if it just isn't in my palate wheelhouse but it wasn't good (might revisit later). The one that takes the cake so far is an Undercrown. This might be because of where I bought it from since it wasn't from my usual B&M shop. Bought the stick at a casino smoke shop across the river in Oklahoma. Should have known when I stepped into the travel plaza/smoke shop with at toothless wonder holding the key to the locked cigar room that this was not going to be a good adventure. Got into the humidor and the smell of cedar was overwhelming and the room was sitting at about 60 deg. No clue on the RH. Pretty sure they lined that room with cedar fence pickets. I got the stick and headed home. Punched the end took a cold draw and wondered when I got off bug spray on my lips cause that's what the wrapper tasted like. Lit that sucker and regretted it on the first puff. Had hell keeping it lit and the thing started canoeing like it had banjos playing in the background. This thing was nasty. Made it to the half way point and the wife stepped out side. She asked me where the hell the hog pen with wet hay came from. That stick got snuffed in the miller lite bottle back wash. Chugged a bottle of Listerine and called it a night. I blame the place I bought it from and will probably try one again in a year or two.

Overall, I'm amazed by how many different cigars Ive enjoyed. Several were named in this thread.
My son got married in Jamaica this past February. I bought some Pride of Jamaicas. Terrible. A harsh tarry taste that lingered for weeks. I still have 2 in my humi and will light one up when and if my son fathers a child. I will have a backup in the event time has not mellowed the POJ stick.
