I would get XM because I like O&A, they have baseball which is nice to listen to in the summer. I don't listen to football as I am usually watching on TV

Thanks for all the great info!!!
I just bought a Sirrius Sportster 4 radio online...we will see if I made the right choice...we have XM with our DirectTV also and I really like their classic western music channel, "Willie's Place", but I am sure Sirrius will, have something similar.

i got xm with my car, but friends of mine have sirius and love it... I have season tix to the eagles (don't say it :rifleaim: ) so the NFL wouldn't interest me since my drinking begins at 8:00am on Sunday, and doesn't end till midnight.. But i have heard that Sirius is awesome, and I am not too impressed with XM.

Stern is on sirius, so i would go there, if given the choice.

Shit, I guess I can't

The rates would go through the roof if they did merge

I am also facing this choice. I am leaning toward XM in part because they have a great new player, the Pioneer Inno, that can be used not only in the car and at home, but also as a portable with headphones. It also allows you to add your own MP3s like an Ipod and to record songs you like while you are listening to XM (or to program it to record).

I'm going to get it for my birthday!

There arother companys in Europe but just the two here. I have the Inno and its great. I have yet to fill up the memory but I use it mostly for recordings and not mp3s. The buffer is the best because if you want to record a song but it is 10-20 seconds into the song it will go back and start from the begining.
