i dont consider 4-5 to be inexpensive. for that price you can get a fuente 858, or a padron, which are 2 of the best in the world.

My favorite <$5 NC cigar is currently the Oliva Serie V Lancero. Oliva O's are also good, and can be found for around $4/each.

Perdomo / Habano
Padron / Padron Series
DPG / Vegas Cubanas

And also a large number of house blends. I want to try that Benchmade as well.

I almost never pay more than $5 for a cigar unless I'm going to smoke at a B&M or something.

For Uber Cheap, I like the Indian Tabac Cameroon Legend--less than $2 on auction and nearly as good as a CAO CX2, imo. Also at $2 or less I like the 5 Vegas Gold and Classic.

For about $3 on auction I like:
RP Vintage, Signature, and Fusion
Torano 1916 and Casa Torano
Oliva G.
CAO Gold

For about $4 or less I like:
CAO Black and Criollo
H. Upmann Cameroon Legend
Oliva O
Gurkha Nep. Warrior, Legend, a couple others

The cigar that I most want to get cheap:
RP Olde World Reserve
AF Hemmingway
La Aurora Preferidos

Omar Ortez Originals...$2.50 each at the b&m, a little less at auction.

These babies remind me of La Aurora. Love em.

I was thinking the same, but along the lines of Oliva Serie V Lancero at $150 per box of 36, they come out to $4.10 a pop. A good hour or more of smoke time.

I just recently won 2 5 packs of Nestor Miranda lanceros on auction for $2.30 a stick. Now that was a bargain. I also like the La Campina from Famous. They are mild, but flavorful. Gispert is also very inexpensive.

How are the Nestor Miranda lanceros? I've heard good things about them. At that price, I'll have to head over to the auction site to try a 5'er or two.

Jesus Fuente Triple Siete (white band w/777 on it.) The No. 2 is really good and is roughly $5 a stick. RP Edge is also one of my favorites, the lanceros just started hitting the B&M's and are worth a try. And one of my all time favs is the Tatuaje Angeles. Another $4-$5 gem!

Gran Habano Corojo #5 Robusto
Oliva Serie G (I like the special G)
Tat Serie P

You can find all close to $3 per stick. I think I got the serie P for something like $2.77 a stick.
