Dear Lord, I don't have my glasses on and, at first, I thought you said Oprah.

That sent chills down my spine.

My favorite to this date is Peter Gabriel Live.

Johnny cash at Folsom prison is one of my favorite live albums
Great album.

I'm a big fan of Jason Mraz's Live at the Eagles Ballroom. Always puts me in a good mood, especially when John Popper (Blues Traveler) comes out and plays with him.

I have a couple bootleg recordings of Nickel Creek I also love listening to. They're the nicest people too.

I don't think any of those are "live" albums....
Well, they didn't record them when they were dead....oh!... Banda bing.... Thank you, thank you...I'll be here all day...
Dude. I chuckled out lout at that.

Luckily for Dead Heads like myself, the Dead recorded 99% of their shows. A lot have been released professionally, but all are available if you know the right people. I have hundreds and hundreds of shows.
Aside from that, a lot of bands sucked live. But, I'd have to say Dave Brubeck at Carnegie Hall, Ted Nugent Double Live Gonzo, and AC/DC If You Want Blood are a few of my favorites.

Iron Maiden Live After Death and Dropkick Murphys Live On Landsdowne.
Live After Death was the first thing that popped into my head when reading the title. Actually listened to it this weekend while walking the dog...
Yeah, that's another good one.
"Scream for me Long Beach!"
I actually saw them live on that tour for the album.

Symphony X - "Live on the Edge of Forever". Every version of every song on this monster double-disc is better than the studio recordings of the same, the mix is perfect, the crowds are awesome, and the improvisation is amazing.
Tool - "Salival". The version of Pushit on this record is breathtaking. The jams are epic. The visuals on the DVD are amazing too.
