Great album.

I'm a big fan of Jason Mraz's Live at the Eagles Ballroom. Always puts me in a good mood, especially when John Popper (Blues Traveler) comes out and plays with him.

I have a couple bootleg recordings of Nickel Creek I also love listening to. They're the nicest people too.

I don't think any of those are "live" albums....

Well, they didn't record them when they were dead....oh!... Banda bing.... Thank you, thank you...I'll be here all day...

Luckily for Dead Heads like myself, the Dead recorded 99% of their shows. A lot have been released professionally, but all are available if you know the right people. I have hundreds and hundreds of shows.
Aside from that, a lot of bands sucked live. But, I'd have to say Dave Brubeck at Carnegie Hall, Ted Nugent Double Live Gonzo, and AC/DC If You Want Blood are a few of my favorites.

Every summer he does a tour. Payed in a venue (Bar) that maybe holds 500 maybe He was freaking amazing. said he rocks his b***ls off all summer then spends the rest of the time hunting.

Symphony X - "Live on the Edge of Forever". Every version of every song on this monster double-disc is better than the studio recordings of the same, the mix is perfect, the crowds are awesome, and the improvisation is amazing.
Tool - "Salival". The version of Pushit on this record is breathtaking. The jams are epic. The visuals on the DVD are amazing too.

My favorite Live album? Throwing Copper, so many great songs on that one, but, they do a pretty great job on any of their albums.
