Allman brothers at Filmore east, every other live album pales in comparison.
Grateful dead - Europe '72, and LIVE DEAD.
James addiction's Kettle Whistle has already been mentioned and is great.
Any old n in the way album is technically a live album.
Derek trucks songlines live.
Bela fleck- music for two (mostly classical but a great album).
Warren Haynes live at bonnaroo is a great singer/songwriter album with great covers of radiohead, eagles, U2 etc.
Dave Gilmore live album from a few years ago- can't think of the name but IMO better than any live Floyd albums.
Seldom scene- live at the cellar door
Lou reed- rock n roll animal

I could keep going. I know I'm skipping a few favorites but that's a good list.

I keep thinking of more great ones.

Thelonius monk quartet live at Carnegie hall... Amazing album.
Portishead - "dummy". Possibly my second favorite live album and I don't like dj's. If you don't have anything from the last 20 years give this one a chance.
Phish- a live one
Jerry Garcia band live at keystone
Ben Harper live from mars

phenominal single album, but are you sure that was live?
Java you're right- studio album. I meant roseland NYC live. Basically the same albums and both are awesome. But roseland is the live one.
