How do you even... man. I dunno. In no particular order:

The Incredibles
Kiss of the Dragon (maybe one of the best martial arts action movies of all time)
Chariots of Fire
Hero
Memento

Disclaimer: As with all lists, ask me tomorrow and you'll probably get a different answer.
Memento is such a great under the radar movie, and Nolan's first I believe. Every time I try to explain it to someone, they look at me like I'm an idiot.

The Following was his first, but Memento was the first to get real attention.

Have you ever watched it chronologically? It holds up surprisingly well, actually.

I believe so. I bought the DVD and think that was one of the options.
I may have to hunt down the Following. Never heard of it before. Nolan and Fincher are the two guys whose movies I always try to watch solely because they did them.

And the new guy adds his two cents:

The Big Lebowski is the greatest movies of all time and I'm shocked only one other BOTL listed it. For shame.

The Departed

Apocalypse Now Redux

Inglorious Basterds (Tarantino)

The Godfather

Honorable mentions: High Fidelity (speaking of top fives), Dancer in the Dark, Baraka, The Dark Knight, Kill Bill (i actually refuse to watch this movie again until they release The Whole Bloody Affair version), Fight Club, No Country For Old Men.

Got to see The Shining in the IMAX theatre in reclining leather seats this weekend. It was the last movie I ever saw in the theatre with my Mom on opening day in 1980. Still my favorite to this day.
