Southern Tier Imperial Black IPA, which was phenomenal.
Half a dozen, or so Jubleales.
2 Seven Brides chocolate stouts whilst waiting for our takeout Christmas Dinner. (I had duck, it was fantastic)

Affligem Noel earlier...which was excellent, and would definitely buy again. Classic Christmas Beer, and although it's been a while since I've had....reminded me of the Corsendonk Christmas Ale. Nice Christmas spice w/ a subtle fruitiness to it that was perfect, as it wasn't overdone.

Now onto the La Chouffe, which I get mostly just yeast and carbonation as the core flavors. Not horrible by any means, just not something i'd buy again, and certainly not in the $10/bottle price range.

I had a few home brews that I shared with the family and finished with the Barrel Of Russians Imperial Stout. Whew this is a strong one. Dark, chocolate and whiskey. The whiskey bite is there and it is hard to believe that it was only aged in the barrels and not mixed with it.

Mexicali Rogue to cap off a 2 growler evening of Seven Brides chocolate stout. Add in friends and a Blazers win makes for a fine evening.

Interesting...
Love that beer! Got two bottles I'm gonna hold on to for at least a year....I hope!
I'm the exact opposite of the spectrum from Larry on this one...

I drank a bottle and my opinion was Belgian and RIS are two styles that have no business together in a brew. Individually, I love em' both....together.....one of the worst beers of 2011 for me.

Right up there with the Sierra Nevada Life & Limb. :frownno:
