Started the night w/ a Weihenstephaner Hefe, and now back on the Lagunitas Sucks train...

Got into the Lagunitas Sucks this evening, whilst watching my Trail Blazers win yet again. So far they've won every game that I've watched while drinking beer, so I think I'll keep it up.

Having a Deschutes Jubelale. Very nice, not too dark and the bottle has some cool holiday raised glass on it.

This year's Jubel is excellent. I been through a couple cases...

ok so no beer for this weekend... going with the trusty old Martini & Rossi Asti Spumante & possibly Perseco; however there is an import called Voodoo that although it sounds a tad gimmicky isnt bad... very dark though

Great Divide Belgian Yeti
Got better as it warmed up, lots of molasses.
Pretty tasty, and definitely better than Stone's Belgian/imperial stout.

Drinking some Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout. I've been keeping my eye out for it the last few years since I had it last; a buddy of mine shared some at a herf and I remember loving it at the time, so far it isn't a let down.

Sadly....the one that was the least impressive, is the one that was the most expensive. The Firestone is way overpriced. Far too sweet, and too much booziness up front. Almost a maple syrup type sweetness. Thin body, and too sugary.
