That's because those idiots lump everything up to a 6x60 into a "Corona Gorda" category. One of the biggest things I hate about that magazine!

wait, what? So every cigar is a corona gorda to them?
That is what they do in their review section. I have the Havana issue...only thing close to a CG size is the RP 15th. Only other cigar that wasn't 50 RG or bigger was the 858 SG.

That's 14 out of 16 cigars reviewed that were bigger than 50 RG...all considered "Corona Gorda".

And looking at that issue...there is also a "Robusto" section in the reviews. It would appear that the dividing line of "Corona Gorda" and "Robusto" is at 5 1/4 inches in length. There is a 5 1/4 x 50 cigar in the "Robusto" category, and a 5 1/2 x 50 cigar in the "Corona Gorda" category. There is a 5x56 in the "Robusto" category as well. So it definitely appears that the length is the deciding factor here. All "Churchills" appear to start at 6 1/2 inches.

Which genius decided on this?

Not too shabby!
Yup, bitching will be at a minimum with those 3, maybe a handful of wtf's to the Mi Amor being #2... because it tastes like Green Pepper :eyepoke:. They should have put a General or Altadis cigar in there to keep this trainwreck going :argue:

just to get things possibly closer on track, current tally: how many of these do you agree as deserving the spotlight? not your best, but how many can you see possibly agreeing with?

my current count is 6/9, with reservations against the magna, rp, and w(tf)orlock.

Surely we can find something to bitch about, right?

What's wrong with green peppers? I have gotten that from a couple of cigars.

4. Partagás Serie P No. 2
3. Illusione Epernay Le Taureau
2. La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor Belicoso
Either they're getting better PSP2s than I am, or this proves that tubos < cigars out of boxes. I had a couple fresh PSP2 tubos recently and they were good but not great.

Then again, I am just not a big fan of this brand. I do think there were many, many more impressive Habanos this year than the PSP2, however. My 2c.

Won't get any arguments from me with those three...

I guess instead of bitching, we could start the discussion, again... What's going to be #1?
