AB Prensado by far. Only stick I threw away at the half way mark and MADE myself get to the halfway point before pitching. Bitter, flavorless cigar. Even after 10 purges......
2nd Place: Tat Fausto Pete keep making sticks like this and your giving the haters the ammuniton they seek......

This past year I've seriously tried the give the 5 Vegas brand a go, haven't had a bit of luck though. If anyone can assist with a good mellow pick for 5 Vegas by all means pls help, otherwise I gotta go with it as my worst picks of the year. Just too spicy and they burn too hot.

It takes a lot for me to Mu a cigar. The two I pitched this year were a Casa Magna boxed pressed cigar of some kind that I smoked at Davidoff in Manhattan--totally disgusting, tasted like dirt--and a Macanudo Hyde Park that was completely and utterly flavorless. Gifted to me, so I gave it a shot anyway.

Quesada OSOK didn't do it for me at all... Harsh. Also, the Kristoff Ligero line was just not good at all... Also the new "Romeo" is a serious dog rocket.

To each his own ... I know you gravitate to medium-bodied flavorful stuff now, but those of us who also like the full-bodied stuff (especially as a 2nd stick of the day) are happy these days :) I for one LOVE the Fausto, one of my most-smoked cigars this year.

I hesitate to talk bad about any cigar because I'm not too experienced. That said, for me it's the L'Atelier/Surrogates. I tried the Lat 52, Tramp Stamp, Crystal Baller. While I didn't hate any of them, there isn't a single one I would pick given a choice in the price range. The Crystal baller was one dimensional and sweet. The tramp stamp was one dimensional and spicy. The Lat 52 was my favorite of the bunch but a little mild for my taste. I consider all of them to be overpriced, and to be honest I think they carry a bit too much hype for what they are.

In defense of the Prensado, I smoked one over the summer and really liked it until it kept going out. It's a cigar I may smoke again.

Gurkha Cellar Reserve is pretty awful, completely flavorless. Aside from that I can't really think of anything that was awful, just let downs like Viaje's Roman Candle and the Illusione Ultra (tried the MK Ultra at IPCPR 2011, completely different to what was released this year from what I remember).

I was kind of surprised by how disappointed I was by the CyB sizes, Lonsdale and Corona were solid cigars but the other 3 sizes I couldn't even finish.

I don't think the Prensado is bad either but AB seems to be a love it or hate it brand. I don't think that the Prensado is going to long term popularity some of the other CA #1's have had in the past because of this.

I enjoyed the Prensado but I do not believe it had the flavor to be smoke of the year.
My worst stick of the year would have to be the ROMEO, got one at an event at my local B&M and it was pretty bad.. I have about 5 more and I am going to let them rest to see if I can tolerate them later.

Well I tried as a favor to a friend who is a rep the CLE. Ugh would have rather eaten Jdogs icecream that fell on the airport ground on the way to Nica!

Just didn't dig the mini-Face, Quesada Jalapa or EPC Cardinal. A number of others found the ashtray quickly but had expected more from those three.
I Loved the Jalapa and the Cardinal. But that's not the question. I would have to say that any of the Little Monster would qualify for me, except for the Mini Mum and the Frank Jr. I think that this had a a lot to do with expectations. While on that subject I was also not a fan of the Mummy of the LFD Factory press IV.

Room 101 Daruma lancero, burnt very uneven and couldn't keep the damn thing lit. Tried this cigar on couple different occasions with same results
