there was a post made on their facebook of a few retailers who had them on the shelves yesterday. I'd assume the next week will be the startup to national release with by the New Year everyone getting their allocation. Tough time of the year to send out a new product, receiving times will vary depending on UPS traffic.Anyone start seeing these pop up yet or know any other details (e.g. who, when, etc)?
They are now!Any botl in Florida I know Corona Cigar Co. is having some local events tonight and tomorrow I think. I called and they won't be taking any phone orders. She said to arrive early if you are gonna come!!! Lucky boys in FL!!!
I called the number on their website and the guy I talked to transferred me to "someone in the back" who was the person that actually completed the sale (got some other stuff too, can't order Magnum R44's online and I wanted to try those out). I don't think these are going to be hard to find once all the other shops get them in though. The problem with Corona Cigar is it depends on who you talk to... they give different answers! If you email or call the main line on their website they would probably say not for sale till Monday online or over the phone but if you call the store number that is having the event they will usually sale them over the phone. Well that has been my experience at least!
So with that being said I think I will just wait for Emerson's to get some in!
I agree with you in that aspect but then again I'm not on a first name basis with manufactures like some people are. Also, I don't really know how the IPCRP works but I'd imagine if you know people you could walk out of there with a lot of pre-released sticks. I'm just speculating, and have zero info to back that statement up, it's just my two cents. Regardless of that, I really enjoy the cigars that Drew Estate produces, especially the Liga Privada line and I'm happy to be able to get my hands on them when I can. What I find most disturbing is that a blogger claims to have smoked over 200 of an unreleased cigar that will be hard to come by for quite a while, yet the paying customers have to scramble to find some. I don't know about anyone else, but that just really puts me off. I couldn't BUY these right now but he can smoke that many? Seems odd to me.
