Big time Bill, couldn't agree more. Many thx Clint and Cody. I was skeptical how the polling for individual pipe components would go, but these are beautiful. Even more beautiful in person I imagine.

Some people like them, I find I like a nice thin comfortable stem. But I also don't have a vice jaw so I have never bit through a stem. They are good for protecting again teeth marks though.

Also, be aware, there are different types of rubber pipe bits. I bought a bulk pack off eBay, they are significantly thinner than the two packs I bought from the online tobacco vendors. Normal use, I like the thinner ones just to protect against tooth chatter. I don't bite down hard, but I have poked through the bottom of the thinner ones while hitting a bump driving. I think I might move to Sean's reco for a more robust (and cheap) solution.
So is it just black rubber tubing?
Look what came today. Absolutely incredible looking. Well done. I love the leather pouch with the 2014 Anniversary and custom tobacco blend. Getting ready to enjoy a bowl and break in the new pipe.
Obviously it's a beautiful pipe that I am insanely jealous about.
But that leather pouch? That just adds so much to it!
Yes it does. I was shocked to see it, but knew these pipes were completely first class. Proud to have it in my collection and will be even more proud to smoke it.

I wanted to include surprise baccy samples with each pipe, and Joe (USHOG) was kind enough to put up some of his homegrown for us to try. It couldn't have worked any better, IMHO.

These are high quality. Moisten them with some saliva before putting them on the stem.
