Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Man, that had to be a show!I saw Buddy Guy last year.
I bet that was a great first concert! MH was a great album. My first concert was Deep Purple who had just come out with MachineHead album. The backup band was Fleetwood Mac who just came out with Bare Trees album and did not have any females in the band at that time. Cost of the ticket $4.00. I think the year was 1973/74 just not sure which.
It is a pretty good show. The Allman Brothers and Buddy Guy are the only acts I made a real effort to see on multiple occasions. The downside to Buddy Guy shows is that they become pretty much the exact same thing every year. They say to really catch him hitting his stride you have to catch him at Legends in Chicago.Man, that had to be a show!
