You make that look easy. Excellent work!

The music is wonderful. Is it a CD all of the same artist or a compilation that you selected?

Takeaways I gotta try:
  1. You prep the filler a lot more than I do.
  2. You use about triple the amount of binder I do.
  3. I've never thought of trimming the head round before sticking it in the mold. Dunno quite how it would work for me. Some variety of trim that would work for my perfecto mold.
  4. I never ever use glue on a binder. What's it do for you? You gonna wrap it opposite the way it's bound? Other'n that, I dunno why you'd glue it.
  5. Never tried tucking my tubes into a base. Sort of like another binder.
Thanks

I used to use glue on my binders until starting to roll with my mentor. He about slapped me when I tried. Lol. It actually works fine not using the glue anymore and helps it last a little longer even though a little goes a long way anyway.

So, I'd say more than 99% of the 150+ youtube videos I've watched searching for "Cuban cigar roller" feature gluing the binder. But I don't think I've ever seen it taken to the level of this guy rolling Cohibas. Could be, with only 20 years at it, he's still refining his methods:

I do my caps the same way he does them. Slather a bit of glue on the head first. Like a primer prior to placing the cap. Then glue on the cap itself. When you place the cap it makes it easy for any adjustment to dead center since it's a bit slippery. The cap should be higher case so it's nice and stretchy before applying the glue. Using two fingers that cap can be stretched tight like a skin on a drum.

Good stuff Marc.

This caught my eye in the description...

"The Flavors by The House of Lucky Cigar line is made up of Dominican fillers grown from Cuban-seed, draped in an Indonesian wrapper. The enticing flavors make this flavored smoke a great change of pace. The taste is smooth, mild and mellow, with a pleasant aroma. Available in boxes of 24, size 5x42, in flavors such as Cherry, Creme Brulee, Honey, Mojito Rum, Vanilla, Mellow Mellow and Chocolate."
