Hey guys. Ive been a watch guy for many years. Started out with invicta watches and worked my way up to more expensive watches. Right now my nicest watch is a Oris F1 chrono that i love.
Recently i got a new job and wanted to buy a new watch to celebrate. My budget is around 4k. (Pre owned)Looking at some omegas and breitlings. If anyone has any suggestions of watches to look at, please let me know.

I am a bit of a recovering watch guy.

Have had everything from Omegas, Rolex' and Pateks.

Im not a huge fan of Breitling because of their bling factor.

Lately ive been quite fond of a few seikos i have and this Tudor hasn't left my wrist since purchase a few months ago.

Honestly when I had a good watch it was a Stainless Steel Rolex, say Watch to me, I think of Rolex.

Honestly if you say fine car, it has to be a Roll Royce.

Now I tell time on my IPhone IV.......;)

I'm a watch guy myself but I haven't ventured into that price range. I've got a Hamilton automatic(my favorite), Tissot automatic, Citizen Ecodrive and a handful of watches under $100. One day I'd like to buy an Omega but that's likely 15+ years away.

That's always been something I've struggled to get into. Most of it has to do with my career path in electrical/mechanical maintenance. You really can't wear jewelry, so I just never got to wear watches. Now that I've changed careers, I can, but out of habit I still don't. I think the last watch I wore consistently had a calculator on it and I was in high school lol.
Those do look pretty sharp though. The ones posted I mean. :p

Thats a nice GMT. I really do like rolex but around here, most people that have a really nice watch all own rolex. I want something different and something a bit bigger. Thats why PO and breitling were watches i started looking at. My oris is 44/45mm

Hamilton and tissot make nice watches. I had a tissot seastar (original) and that was a nice watch

Really? Which model did you have? I was looking at the newer PO chrono with their newer movement
They are nice, cool movement. The co ax movements have come a long way.

I have to say though, of all the watches ive bought and sold, I've never lost money on a rolex. Anything from Tudor strike your fancy? They are made byRolex and can generally get a discount from an AD

I do like Rolex and if i were to buy one, it would be a sub blk face and bezel but every time i try one on, it just seems a bit small. Plus a sub is a little out of my price range.
