Most military guys are gonna talk shit about berrettas, the ones they used were often worn out, with shitty magazines and terrible sighting. Glocks are big steps up compared to that.
And I think the differentiation between FA and burst is kinda picking nits.
That said, those that never miss an opportunity to mention it Kinda wear thin, like vegans.... ;)
At least he's not claiming he was spec ops...
Lets not forget how Glock didn't win the commission for the new sidearm issue. ;) (Even the new Sig Sauer has its own Damn shortcomings btw but still better than Glock) Lol. I love the Beretta. I love how I'm holding steel, not plastic and how the recoil is muted from the counterweight of the sidearm. I love the 3 dot site of the Beretta over the notch Glock site. Its the sight configuration I learned to shoot with. I love the DA/SA of the humble Beretta. Unlike a Glock, I can still fire the weapon with the hammer down. No chambering or carrying the weapon cocked, unlike Glocks which have zero safeties and require the striker to be back with one in the pipe. (Definitely not safe or practical imo) I carried one on night watch and I felt like I could always trust my life to it...... 1 in the chamber, safety off, and hammer down was (and still is) how I carry it. I will take it over plastic any day.

I 100% agree with you. I have so many friends who swear by the Glocks and as much as they are fun to shoot, I definitely love the feel of the Beretta's, their sites and overall construction. I also really love Sigs though too. Been wanting to get a new Sig .45. I have their 5.56 rifle and absolutely love it.

What do you think about Springfield Armory? I am saving for the new Springfield XDE .45 as my backup sidearm. It is snappy and petite but for its size and holding 6 rounds of .45 it can't be beat.....

Haha funny you said that, I have the XDM .45. Really love it, great feel in the hand, not crazy expensive and have had 0 issues with it, whether running expensive loads or cheap steel it runs beautifully.

Full size or is it subcompact? I haven't looked at any XDM's.

I can tell you that the XDS 45 is extremely easy to handle, as well as the 9mm. I was thinking about picking up and XDE until the whole controversy about them supporting throwing Illinois gun owners under the buss.

Hahaha! 75 is where it's at. But I like the Tupperware as well. I'm pretty non descriminatory when it comes to firearms.
Stayed away from 1911s for years because of the grip safety. Finally shot one enough to get used to it , and never looked back. Drank the kool aid, and asked for a refill. :D But, yeah... anything that goes bang, I'm all for it.

@Prine Isn't 10 g's over the Campaign Finance Laws? Maybe we can get them thrown in jail like Dinesh D'Souza haha. In a sense I'm glad I don't live in Illinois but I can't really talk cause my politicians are definitely no better, and are damn sure no friends to the NRA in NJ. Really fuckin sad, shit pisses me off beyond belief. I don't mind you putting in your two cents on an issue but at least know your fucking history and what you're talking about. "They only envisioned us having muskets and single shot pistols." No, that is a lie, they had mutli-shot rifles and pistols even before the 2nd amendment was written.
