I think I may have already gotten PAD. I've been watching sales of estate pipes and decided to get a couple to go with my MM Cob. I know they are nothing special, but they will be to me as they are my first briars.
On top is a Kaywoodie Relief Grain #51. Its in great shape other than the club missing on the stem...I bought it as a smoker so thats ok for my first briar. I gave it the salt and alcohol treatment overnight and will let it sit for several days before I use it. I soaked the stem overnight in oxyclean and scrubbed with a magic eraser. It left it with a bit of a matte finish but I'm good with that.
On bottom is an Astor #334 Made in London, England. I believe this is a seconds brand of Comoy's. It too is in good shape. I cleaned the stem the same as the other and I am waiting for my reamer to get here so I can clean the bowl.
I'm very excited to try these pipes out and see how they smoke. I see many more estate pipes in my future.
