  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Does anyone REALLY love Haunted Bookshop?

Possibly, though I think Virginia's benefit more from aging than Burleys. After a year or so I really can't tell a difference. They do mellow a bit over the long term, which at some point certain blends end up too mellow IME.

I wanted to like it. I’ve bought a few 1-2 ounces at a time and struggled through them. Same thing with OJK. Last year a cellared an 8 once tin of each that I popped a few weeks ago. I love the charring light. And then it just turns acrid and unpleasant for me. Just doesn’t agree with my palate.

I also had to make room for the pound of Peter Stokkebye Navy Flake I ordered. I can smoke this sh*t all day every day!
