So far, so good. With the dry weather and threat of fires here, I've only had it out a few times out to 100 and I'm definitely the limiting factor.
We're getting ready to move here in a bit and there's a range with steel out past a mile a few minutes away, I'm looking forward to properly stretching its legs when we get there.
My 6.5CM shoots the 142g load much better than 120g. I don't have access to a range over 100yds, but I would love to try and reach out a little. I did harvest a buck from 266yds a couple of years ago and it dropped him.

I didn't shoot today sadly. But it's a lot cooler outside. I put my .38 in my waistband to walk inside, God! That steel was cold!!!

that's some fine shooting ,nice group
But hell 22lr is all we can afford to shoot these days with crazy ammo prices
Thanks. And you are right about ammo prices. I saw some defensive 9mm on Monday that was $40/box. I said no thanks and just took a .22 to the range. I saw a guy shooting a bunch of rounds out of an AR at the 50yd range. He shot at least 300 rds at his targets and decided to watch for a minute. All of his rounds were hitting the top of the gravel berm, at least 12' above his targets. After he left I walked down to check my targets and looked at his and he had zero holes in the paper. I don't think he had a clue as to where he was shooting. But I never saw him make any adjustments to his scope. I just found the whole thing strange.

I went to the range today to sight in my .22 rifle after mounting taller rings to get a better sight picture and consistent cheek weld. Once sighted in pretty close I shot my best 5 shot group to date from 50yds using a front bag.

I love this gun and am extremely happy with this. Especially for 67 year old eyes.

British Enfield

There was a pair of coyotes trying to get in to the fence with my Pit and the wife's Yorkie. The Enfield was the closest rifle and I didn't want to try 40 yards with a Glock 26 first thing in the morning.
