British Enfield

There was a pair of coyotes trying to get in to the fence with my Pit and the wife's Yorkie. The Enfield was the closest rifle and I didn't want to try 40 yards with a Glock 26 first thing in the morning.
Did you get them both. Predator hunting is something I need to do more of.

I got the first one and the second took off running. I'm really slow with a bolt action rifle. So, I didn't get a chance on the second one.

One is good. Getting both would be really hard to do with a bolt gun. At least you sent a strong signal to #2.

My oldest son and I went to the range yesterday morning. After about 90 minutes an idiot showed up and we packed up and called it a day. We only took rim fire stuff and had a great time while it lasted. Stopped and had Mexican food for lunch on the way home.

Anyone been doing any shooting recently? With the current ammo availability and pricing .22 is all I've been shooting.

This morning we are going fishing.

not much, mostly just cause of being busy. How bad was the range idiot? I’ve experienced and heard some doozy stories of them...

One idiot at a range near here started firing while another shooter was walking out to change targets...

Another, 2 wannabe thugs were of course aiming their pistols sideways, then started firing with axe chopping motions like it was gonna increase velocity.....:jawdrop::ROFLMAO::facepalm:

A guy was walking back from hanging a target and this old man started shooting when the guy was still halfway down range. At the benches he was talking and pointing his gun towards others, with his finger on the trigger. He was acting like he was a gun expert, but had told me he had just recently became a gun owner. I told him twice to quit waving his fucking gun around and to take his finger off the fucking trigger. I got pissed and told him to put his gun on the bench and don't touch it because I was leaving before he shot me and don't even think about picking up his gun until I had driven off the parking lot. He was probably close to 80, was senile and kept repeating himself. He should not own a gun IMO.

This is at a nice outdoor Dept of Conversation range, but is unmanned, so you have to police it yourself while there. Someone gets shot there every year from some idiot that is clueless about even the basics of gun safety. This wasn't the first time I have had to leave. I'm 67 and I hope if I ever get like this old guy my sons take my guns away. Scary stuff.

Anyone been hitting the range recently? It been 6 months since anyone has posted in the section. Anything new? Range pics? Etc.
It has been almost exclusively dry-fire here. My club was closed for a few weeks to renovate the bays, plus started a new job in March, so sneaking out for range days has been tough.
Bought a few new things that I have to go zero, however. I would rather watch paint dry than go zero optics, so dragging my feet on that too...
