Is this herf here yet! Seems like it's been a long time in the making. I look forward to seeing you mugs tomorrow!!
Dude, I'm super amped for this thing. we need a guest book, so we can see how many acctually showed. I bet we have 40 or more in and out through out the day.

Thank God we planned it early, or I would be going to a big blacktie fundraiser shindig. Good food, but a bunch of people that think their better than the little people of the world. Not my crowd to say the least. My event was on the calendar first so the wife got told to invite a reind. :eyebrow: I still have to get the car all packed up, the humdor packed up, cut up the vodka soaked watermelon:eyebrow:, and reserve a fire pit at 6 am tomorrow, oh yeah and loand Arron's truck with a half ton of wood.

Good times! The people at our function may feel superior to others but it's because they don't appreciate our vice...

Hey guys, I'm new to the board and just noticed this thread. You guys are killing me. I grew up in Laguna and lifeguarded at Aliso for many, many years (when the pier was still there). I'd love to be there, but living in Boston makes it a bit tough. Have a great time guys!

BTW - it was 29 degrees this morning when I went to work. That sucked.

Sorry, I won't get to meet you.....this time. Eric had some things to say about you:nodlaugh:

I have a question on herfetiquette. I'm sitting in traffic on my way to The Big Easy to pick up Frank and I think to myself, "How many of my BOTLs would love to buy one of these, if it wasn't so far away". So I talk myself into buying another box thinking I could provide my new friends with said opportunity to purchase The Frank. Would I be out-of-line actually charging money for a cigar at this herf?

I would think being that this is a very limited release cigar that it would be OK. But to sell them at a mark up might be a bit unbrotherly. Not that it's your intention to profit from it, just saying. I know I will buy one from you, and a couple of others might as well. How much are they going to be? I figure you could do the same thing and then offer them for sale here and we would have to pay for them, so what's the harm in bringing them. I really want the box they come in, but I doubt that will be happening.

i don't think it's out of line. i wouldn't charge any more than what you paid. i've got a box enroute, but i'll probably buy one since it's there!

Ok, I'm a Nube here only my second post I think. John Conroy sent me an email letting me know about your herf. then I got another one from him asking if I was going. I will talk to some one my friend and see if they are interested in going. It would be good to meet all of you Cigar smoking brothers not to mention seeing John again. I have also reading the post everyone had been posting but man, 20+ pages is a lot.

So far is there going to be a big turn our?
