Totally bummed out! Altidore looked hurt in the first half and missed a couple decent opportunities, Dempsey looked tired all game, Cherundulo (sp) was not good today, but we still had our chances. Can't believe we had 2 defenders back and couldn't stop the second goal from happening.

Don't forget Ricardo Clark. I think maybe someone paid him off, because both games he started in he played like absolute shit.

Yeah, giving up that early goal, USA didn't have the legs to come back. and Altidore just seemed spent today. can only wonder what would of happend if Davies and chiang would of been healthy

Complete domination. I'm glad Germany won. Since USA is out, I'll fall back on my fatherland!

Also... if we had to play them instead of Ghana, I think we would have gotten beat a lot worse.

Come to the dark side! We have cookies!

WOW... What a royal screw job by the refs. That was a no doubter goal by England!
True, true. We need video for the refs. I mean, we have the technology, why not use it to keep the game fair?

So it ought to be 4:2 Germany ...

But i got to say, that was a beautyful game to watch. The one scene by Germany reminded me of brasilian football at its best.

England played very good too, so there was suspense as well.

Let´s see what ARG and MEX have to offer tonight... Gonna light up a 601 special german edition for the occasion.

England didn't deserve to win they played terrible through the whole tournament, to me they had no cohesion, they played as individuals rather than a team. I think Germany just looked so much more relaxed and had pace, they just out played England and it will be interesting to see how well they do. Interested now to see how Paraguay, Japan, Ghana, Uruguay and Ghana do when they play have to play the likes of Brazil, Netherlands, Germany, Argentina, Spain or Portugal.

Spain over Portugal? Man, that game was way too early in the tourny... that match-up shuold've been a quarter or semi-final match-up, not a round-of-16 match!
