• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Nestor Miranda Special Selection "Coffee Break"

Just found one in a bomb from today. I've always thought that Nestor has some exceptional tobacco to work with so this one should be good.

    HTF Beers?

Tacoma is like my second hometown. I was just there in April and discovered all it's goodness.

    HTF Beers?

Most of the Oskar Blues rock. You're lucky because you've got 99 bottles in Fife...plenty of selection available.

    Fonseca Invictos

They don't come up very often at all. Hardly EVER. I've seen more sales for Dunhill's & Davidoff's than I have for Invictos.

    Fonseca Invictos

The Invictos I've had (smoked through 4 boxes) have all been considerably stronger than the line suggests. It's a nice smoke when you can get them.

BOTL blind summer reviews cigar No.4

I know I didn't Kev. I even told you in that PM that I *knew* it was a Partagas because of the finish! I actually liked this cigar a whole lot. It wasn't bitter for me but it was a spicy som'bitch which I dig. Interesting that my cigar drew like a champ and smoked well...which is what we kinda...

Ramon allones Lusitanos Portugal 2010 RE

It was well worth the purchase bro. It's not that it's a short cigar, just a short smoking time. Flavor was excellent and it just ended sooner than you would want.

Guerilla tactics to combat this SoCal heat wave

I've done it before, but you have to watch out for condensation. It'll ruin everything inside. Go ahead and toss it in the fridge. As long as you have some sort of passive humidification it won't hurt, just check it every now & then

Guerilla tactics to combat this SoCal heat wave

Stick it under your bed. Should be cooler there than anywhere else. You can go to Radio Shack and get one of those cool heat guns that will let you 'shoot' the temperature for relatively cheap. Find your coolest spot in the apartment and leave it there.

Frozen in ice for 100 years??

It would be cool if they could re-create the blend. I've heard some guys say that some old brewer book(s) from the late 1700's had recipes for rye that were out of this world good but they just don't make it that way anymore.

If YOU could blend the next Tatuaje LE...What would it be?

That's freakin hilarious! Seriously though.... Everyone thinks that Mexican tobacco is shitty 'cause of too many (was going to say bad, but I never had a good one)Te-Amo's. Isn't always the case though...I've had some really good cigars with Mexican tobacco. If I'm not mistaken, a lot of the...

Noella with Mexican Sumatra. That would be kinda cool. Same Nic filler with a Mexi SG wrapper.

If YOU could blend the next Tatuaje LE...What would it be?

It would suck. I wrapped a noella in candela and it was wretched. http://www.botl.org/community/forums/showthread.php?t=22350&highlight=noella+candela

A travesty I hope to fix...

All of your info is spot on except for the Cubatobaco did date stamp from the early 80's on I believe. I really want to say 1985 is when they started, but it's been a while since I've had to pull that trivia fact out of my butt.

    Davidoff Tubo

Ron...those are running pretty steep. I don't know what the current prices are but I know it's not unreasonable to ask $$$ for it.

If you change the search criteria to "gross", it lists the Gurkha line LOL!
