  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Everyone I know who smokes 'em, including me, finds their wrappers delicate. Usually no problems, but the slightest mishandling or environmental problem causes cracking, peeling, etc.

    That's about right. I'm active on 3 or 4, and there are very few women, or at least members who let you know they are women, and they tend not to be the most active. I dunno why..?

    That's the method I use in all my humidors and coolerdors. Works great, and you don't have to worry about adding too much water.

    Holt's seems to generally have 858 Candelas in stock. I don't often look for them since I only smoke 'em maybe a couple of times a year for a change of pace, but they usually seem to be available on those rare occasions when I want one.

    If you like the Fuente flavor profile, Sosas are a really nice smoke. My favorite is the maduro Governor.

    All depends on what you consider a good price. I won't pay any more than MSRP, which is around $8 or $9 a stick. That's what Holt's sells 'em for (when they have 'em in stock). If you really want them and can't get them elsewhere at a better price, then I guess you might consider cigarplace's...

    Hey Ron, I have a humidor where the glue on the velcro pieces that hold my humidifier elements and hygrometer won't stick to the (moist) wood. I will have to glue the velcro pieces back onto the top of the humidor. Do you have any recommendations for (or against) andy specific brands or types...
