BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Figurado Burn Issues
This makes sense to me. I am impatient with resting cigars, so...I'm not surprised that I've had issues given the above info. -

I've heard that canoeing happens when the core burns faster than the binder/wrapper due to humidity issues. I'm not sure though. I have also had burn issues with figurados in the past and have never figured out what the problem is. I have been steering away from buying them for that reason. -
Paul Garmirian Interview
I bought a couple of his $15 robustos when I placed a box order from Jack Schwartz a few months ago. The cigars were both pretty good (quite mild, but had some interesting flavors). They were $7 smokes, however. No more PG for me. -

Emerson's is the best. I entered a wrong digit on my initial TAA 12 order and they sent me an e-mail to call them asap. I called and "Craig" answered the phone. I gave him my cc number and hung up. About 20 minutes later, I realized that the person I talked to was likely botl forum member... -

I had a 5th Anniversary today. Enjoyed it very much. I think Andre came across some excellent tobacco for these. Every time Viaje comes out with a new "limited" cigar, I always tell myself, "Don't do it." But I usually end up buying anyway. I'm glad I picked up some of these. -

Q: Ugliest Cigar Packaging?
Camacho Liberty has great banding, but the coffins with their cheap, unreadable gold-leaf handwriting are the worst (2012 is especially bad). The lead suitcase the coffins come in is unmanageable. BOTL 2012 Lancero by Drew Estate
This is one of the best nc cigars I've had the pleasure to smoke. Next year, I will buy a box instead of the fiver...no question about it. Don't change a damn thing....man, this cigar is amazing. -
