  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Thanks bugbear and marc. I'm gonna leave it alone. It is pretty quick now, so I'm gonna worry about world peace instead of my wifi speed :)

    I guess what I am asking is...If my signal strength was 99% instead of 77%, would web pages load more quickly? Or would the difference be negligible? My router antennae is omni and I'm wondering if a directional antennae or a booster would be worth it.

    Hopefully some pc's or petite robos are on the horizon. The longer I smoke cigars, the slower I smoke 'em. A 6x52 takes me quite a while these days...

    Bro, If you end up liking cheapies, that's all the better for you, and your wallet :). I wish all my favorites were $2 smokes. I'd actually have some disposable income to buy shoes and socks!!

    Smoked A GOF Serie B SG during the game. It was a $12 smoke when it came out, and it's a $15 smoke now with some rest. I can't wait until it's a $20 smoke :)

    The shop is in the nicest neighborhood in Oregon so they might be trying to squeeze a little extra $$$ from their upper end clientele This makes sense from a retailer perspective. If I made 500k a year, I'd spend $150 on a box of lil' fellas. However... :)

    Corona - $10.00 Robusto - $12.00 Toro - $14.00 Double Corona - $15.00 Torpedo - $14.00 Anything over this price point, I consider pricey, but my meager senses can't detect "roasted rosemary" or "smooth lemon merangue" like some of the finer palates. I sometimes pay more than this for cigars...

    New Oliva Cigar

    I just smoked one of the figurados. Much more full-bodied than the #4. I was surprised. It lasted 2 hours and didn't quite have the complexity of the #4. Still a very good cigar, but $14 is slightly steep, although it's better than many smokes that cost more, imo. The $8 #4 is perfect for me.

    MOW PA maduro is a powerhouse. In a corona doble, that cigar would be crazy full.
