• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Interesting Take On Cuban Cigars

This is kind of a slap in the face to art of what they're doing they deserve some more credit. You can't just throw any tobaccos together and call it a day. It might seem like that but they are growing particular strains of tobaccos they need for their cigars. I don't see how thats any different...

    Interesting Take On Cuban Cigars

I agree. I think they're doing the best with what they have but I also think if the government put more money into it they could do more. More fields, bigger stocks of aging tobaccos, that sort of thing. Obviously with the way things work its not that simple but if it were to happen I can't see...

    Interesting Take On Cuban Cigars

To be fair you can take different primings off the same plants in the same fields and get a totally different cigar. Such is the case with Undercrown and the LP line. Blending tobacco is an art. Your right its not the torcedors job to blend though, they just roll the blend they're given. But...

    Secret cigar trip

On your way down the keys make sure to take Card Sound Rd as you come out of FL City and stop at Alabama Jacks. They have great conch salad and conch fritters. While your in Key West a must stop is El Siboney for some Cuban food. Very affordable and the portions are huge. I recommend the...

    Interesting Take On Cuban Cigars

The only part of that list I could believe is that the fields could be cared for better. Im not saying the farmers are slacking or leaf is bad but more funding could only be a good thing in the end.

    Nickleback hating?

Personally I think they're mediocre. The songs are sappy and the musicianship is bland. Ive always had the joke... do rock the right way and you get Led Zeppelin. Do it the wrong way and you get Nickelback.

    Guitar players

I took 10 years of classical piano growing up and learning scales were highly stressed. When I decided to teach myself guitar after learning all my chords I got a book of scales and it was probably the best thing I could have done for myself. You'd be hard pressed to find a guitar player worth...

    Guitar players

I was gifted the same guitar and I'd have to agree. Not quite the same as a Fender obviously but still a guitar you can get some good sound out of for a single coil. The intonation on mine won't hold though which is pretty annoying.

    The Great RH Experiment

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts in the end. I know I noticed a big difference when I went from 70 down to 65 and eventually 60-62.

That blend is fantastic with that wrapper. Box worthy. Good looking roll there, love the closed foot.
