• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Smoked this one on the ride home today, a Mode 5: Started out as smooth as butter, with little spice. Even the retrohale was smooth. I felt like there was a slight bread dough flavor to it. I was pretty hungry and grabbed a steak quesorita and tea to go with it. Kept it going while scarfing...

    Trying a new one for me. So far, so good! Seems to have paired up nicely with a little Buffalo Trace. The ash held on until the half way point then fell as one solid piece. Ended as strongly and tasty as it started:

    It is hard to do, but sometimes they'll learn the hard way and realize you were right, then listen a little more...My kids are only 8 and 10 years old so I'm not quite at the boyfriend/girlfriend stage yet but they do have friends/relationships that need the same kind of coaching.

    Pressing the veins into the bunch, do we accomplish this by rolling the cigar on the cutting board after wrapping? I've been rolling mine after wrapping with the thought that I was smoothing bumps which I guess would be pushing the veins in...
