• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Blend testing

Typically I have rolled .5 ligero, 2 viso, 1 seco. Last rolling session I did .75 ligero, 1.5 viso, 1 seco ( all Nicaraguan from LO) with Dom binder and Ec seco shade wrapper. This was definitely a move in the right direction for my preferences.

    Cocktail Recipe Thread

A friend shared some beer that had spent time in some old bourbon barrels. I really enjoyed it but much to my dismay, couldn't find it locally. Then came the solution: Drink your beer down below the neck, then fill it back up with your bourbon of choice. Instant, local, and readily available...

    Favorite stock picks?

I missed out on Apple's rise. While I haven't held Boeing, I did have a company that refurbishes planes. I will have to look them up, can't recall their name at the moment. As for the Healthcare REIT, I didn't realize the benefits in that arena. STOR is a REIT but not a Healthcare one. I'll...

    Favorite stock picks?

Just curious if any of you have a favorite stock or one you are watching now... NOC and STOR have treated me well... I'm not a financial guru, I make electricity for a living. Just thought I should add that info up front.

    Place to start

Sounds like another opportunity to practice some patience....I haven't yet let them sit in the mold overnight. Guess that's the next step in improving my rolling skills!

I didn't even think about changing the weight multiplier. I see now, before I just put the total leaf count in and looked for something that matched...it's all very interesting. Thanks for showing me how to line this up, Jim

It seems odd to me that none of these ratios match any of the graphic on page one of this post, the one showing different ratios for typical cc in red, orange, and yellow...

So as I'm still very green here (less than 100 rolled cigars still), I'm gonna throw this out here to see what you guys think. While it doesn't match the numbers above, I was trying to properly stuff a 48 rg stogie starting with the ratio of .5 ligero, 2 viso, 1 seco. As I adjusted for...

If your binder is Dom seco, do you add that into the equation, or only the fillers?

So my 1 ligero, 2 seco that was pretty good (5 out of 6 pts) maybe even better with .5 viso added (totalling 6pts). Then there's the binder and wrapper... Thanks for sharing Bliss, keep on please!
